Ceramic fiber can be seen everywhere in real life, and everyone is familiar with it, but when it comes to its specific classification, I believe it is not so familiar. Here we might as well make an inventory of the related products of ceramic fiber blankets and improve our understanding of them.
Ceramic fiber blankets are made by double-sided needle punching and are widely used in both high and low temperature environments. According to different production processes, ceramic fiber blankets currently on the market are generally divided into two categories: one One is spinning blanket, and the other is spinning blanket.
1. The diameter of the fiber: the spinning fiber is thicker, the spinning fiber is generally 3.0-5.0μm, and the spinning fiber is generally 2.0-3.0μm;
2. The length of the fiber: the spinning fiber is longer, the spinning fiber is generally 150-250mm, and the spinning fiber is generally 100-200mm;
3. Thermal conductivity: The spinneret blanket is superior to the spinning blanket due to its finer fibers;
4. Tensile and flexural strength: Spinner blankets are superior to spinneret blankets because their fibers are thicker;
5. Application in making ceramic fiber blocks: Spun fiber blankets are better than spinneret blankets because of their thicker and longer fibers. During the folding process of block production, sprayed fiber blankets are easy to break and tear, while spinneret fiber blankets are easy to break and tear. It can be folded very tightly and is not easily damaged. The quality of the block will directly affect the quality of the furnace lining;
6. Vertical layering application of large blankets such as waste heat boilers: spinning blankets have thicker and longer fibers, better tensile strength, and are more durable, so spinning blankets are better than spinneret blankets;
